Niv Adiri was one of <em>Gravity<\/em>&#8216;s Oscar winners for his work on the film&#8217;s sound. He&#8217;s originally from Israel, he works at Pinewood in Buckinghamshire, but as far as the <em>Oxford Times<\/em> is concerned <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oxfordtimes.co.uk\/news\/11048120.Oscar_glory_for_Oxfordshire_man\/\" target=\"_blank\">he&#8217;s a Wheatley in Oxfordshire man now<\/a>.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/embed.gettyimages.com\/embed\/476356637?et=bAL7vjxo0kWtunC4KPs-Cg&amp;sig=fQVV-ANUhlm9i2VcehY7WbljwwjElE-OF41bn_GWo9M=\" height=\"671\" width=\"400\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The lovely photo of Mr Adiri is courtesy of Getty Images&#8217; new embed images feature, through which bloggers and social media-ites can use many Getty images for free, in return for the small advert at the bottom. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gettyimages.co.uk\/Creative\/Frontdoor\/embed\" target=\"_blank\">The details are here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve written about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beaconreader.com\/sa-mathieson\/gravity-falls-to-earth-near-londons-orbital-motorway\" target=\"_blank\">the Britishness of <em>Gravity<\/em><\/a> as one of two pieces for Beacon subscribers in the last week.
